A hiking day in the very heart of the Mauritian nature!

 

We propose you a whole catalog of rambling paths with access to all according to their physical capabilities. You will find below 2 examples, the first one being the easiest (1 hour-long), the second one, the most difficult (5 and a half hour-long). Feel free to ask us for advice and details in order to select the most convenient to you. We can also propose you 2 days hiking, accommodation included. Rates will depend of the chosen paths and of the number of participants.

 

In all cases, we will lead you to the departure spot and bring you back to your accomodation. We will take good care of the logistics and safety involved, water and snack included. The lunch can howsoever be taken in a local restaurant or from the bag.

 

Please note that you will need :

 

- convenient shoes, sun screen, mosquito repellent, hat, sun glasses, swimsuit.

 

Easiest path – Léon waterfall (indicative rate Rs 3,000 for two):

A one hour-rambling from the Surinam village via the Cecil waterfall till the beautiful Léon waterfall.

Bathing and relaxing, back to the departure point by the same path, 3 hours altogether.

View over the Rochester waterfall, which is very close from the departure point.
Lunch at A la Bonne Bouffe Snack in Souillac, a lovely Mauritian address : fish curry, octopus curry, briani, mine, faratha, ...

A rambling of 5 and a half hours to see all the 7 waterfalls, the most beautiful hiking in Mauritius.
